Carrie is a guide and instructor who loves sharing the underwater world with divers of all levels. Whether you’re on your first Open Water dive or exploring Full Cave, CCR, or DPV, she makes every experience safe, fun, and personalized.

Fluent in Spanish and English, Carrie connects easily with divers from around the world. Her own journey began in Open Water, but it was learning Sidemount in Mexico that sparked her love for the overhead environment—a passion she’s never left behind. Today, she primarily dives sidemount, but she’s also trained in doubles and multiple CCR systems, including the Dive Rite CM O2ptima, Kiss Sidewinder, and Divesoft Liberty SM.

Carrie dives with Karst Underwater Research (KUR), combining her love of exploration with guiding and teaching. From charting new passages to helping new divers gain confidence, she brings curiosity, care, and expertise to every dive.

Her goal is simple: to help others discover their potential and feel at home in the water. She can’t wait to dive with you and share the magic that lies behind the mask
